A tour of the Vicentine countryside to admire the different types of settlements that over the centuries have modelled the look of the area. The tour begins with a visit to Palladio’s first villa built for the counts of Godi, and finishes with the splendid frescoes of Paolo Veronese in another Palladian villa, built for the Barabaro family in Maser. The tour also includes a visit to the Porto Colleoni Castle in Thiene, the Scaglieri castles and medieval walls in Marostica, and a wander through the winding streets of Bassano.
If requested the visitors can finish their day with trip to Asolo, the city that so enchanted Eleonora Duse.
