Marostica has one superb hotel in the walled centre, the Due Mori, which occupies a stylishly modernised seventeenth-century building just above the piazza at Corso Mazzini 73 (tel. 0424/471777, www.duemori.com). The tourist office can give details of alternatives in the modern town, but it’s better to stay in Bassano if the Due Mori is full.
