The first time I entered a resort I was 15 years old. I was not a tourist, but the shy helper of a brother who worked there as DJ. His chief d’animation was so nice and charismatic that he conquered everybody and for years he was my idol and the one who I tried to imitate.

Finished the tourist studies in Tunisia and gained the first experiences in the costal resorts, I started to travel around Europe for studying and working.
France, Germany, Switzerland, Greece were my first stops. And finally Italy, where I’ve been able to realize the great dream of managing a small hotel which is my own.
Here indeed, after years spent providing services for resorts and Tour Operator, I created the business, Getual srl, a company specialized in hotel management.
Together with Monica, we have planted our roots in Marostica, a jewel in the heart of that Veneto which had always brought me luck since 1990.

For me working is, first of all, a passion. But I have also other passions and the first is music. It’s impossible to grow up in a family of musicians and Dj without having rhythm in blood and having fun especially when making people dance. Languages are the other passion.
When I was 10 I was able to speak correctly French and Arabic and later I continued to increase my possibility to communicate with the citizens of our global village. I confess this is my best card in order to work in tourism, but now I’m travelling also for pleasure and knowing only 6 languages seems to be limiting …
And I am passionate about the seaside. Lonely beaches, white sand, crystal water and small fishes swimming in saltwater …

Last curiosities:
In Tunisian Riadh means “composed”, in Arabic “the garden of heaven”. In Morocco it’s the house with the internal courtyard, which is typical of all Northern Africa countries. In Saudi Arabia it’s the state’s capital.
But for Italian it’s similar to Raid .. an insecticide!

The numbers I’ve never played at Lotto are:
24 – 10 - 88: the day I arrived in Italy for the first time
27 – 8: the years spent working in tourism and in Marostica
1 – 7 – 14: the numbers of relatives, including my son, brothers and nephews

Indispensibile: a week in total relaxation at the seaside, fresh fish with a good glass of white sparkling wine, mint tea and narghilè while watching a breathtaking movie
Unbearable: the crabs on the beach and intellectual arrogance
Unrepeatable: Barry White’s concert, the oath on the Italian Constitution, the first embrace of Samir
